Why can't Videos be added to my posts?

I cannot insert my videos into my posts. This feature has worked for a long time without a problem, but suddenly the video insert function on the “insert media from gallery” page no longer has a “insert” button for videos, only a “delete” link shows. Yet, from the same gallery, I can still insert jpg images.
I have rebooted my system, purged my cache, and waited for a couple of days (thinking it might be a wordpress.com issue) but no change. I use the latest version of the Safari browser.

Have you checked your upgrades? Maybe your Videopress has expired?
Also, if you’re using one of the approved video formats from elsewhere, like YouTUbe, have you tried using the shortcode?
[youtube=URL]and if so, which exact video are you trying to put in? We need the URL so we can check it out.

We have utilized 71% of our available Videopress storage, leaving more than enough room for this video. In fact, the video is already uploaded to wordpress and visible on the “gallery” page – we just have no way (no links or buttons) on that page to insert it into the posting, even though we’ve done so before from this page for numerous other videos created the same way.

Does somebody – anybody – have a solution or suggestion for us on this? It’s important that we resolve this issue soon!
