Why can't you block users? Stop trolling "pingbacks"?

I actually didn’t know i could block blogs from being in the reader. I have had blogs that I didn’t follow appear.

    I will do that now.

These minions are blacklisted, but as aksimet isn’t perfect, I still need to review what’s in there.

And as OM uses “reblogs” to attack in conjunction with his other threats, bullying and trolling, this is a problem.

    Dude, you’re blogs are evidence.

I give links to the abuse so people can see exactly what you do.

You attempted to bully me from writing on topics of great interest to others, and have failed.

Stop being abusive and having an abusive reblogging policy?

    Don’t issue threats?

Try to realize that impinging on my free speech is not a valid exercise of your free speech?

You may write what you wish and per WordPress policy I can share it if it has a reblog button. You write a few posts a week about me. I’ll keep reblogging those because I can.

Take your own advice. Stop writing about me and we can part ways. Your decision.

    @kavalkade12
Though we can disable the display of reblog buttons on the Admin bar and on posts and pages, we cannot disable it in the Reader. Please see here and read the full entry https://en.support.wordpress.com/reblogs/ Then take note of this section https://en.support.wordpress.com/reblogs/#is-there-anyway-i-can-disable-the-reblog-option

It’s not about you. It’s about abuse, bullying and intimidation that takes place in social media.

Twitter has now changed their moderation as a result of my blogging according to the SF DA’s office, consumers mediation department.

Intererstingly WordPress (Automattic) is headquartered in San Francisco as well.

You came to me, by attempting to bully me out of blogging about The Wine Wankers.

You cosntitute some of the best evidence I have for how bullies operate.

I don’t intend to stop using what you do as evidence to seek positive change, sorry.

You’re a threat to people. Period.

The only thing that is going to happen is people will continue to see how openly abusive people like OM are.

I will continue to shine a light on that abuse.

OM does not determine what subject matter I may blog about.

I remain astounded his abuse is tolerated on WordPress.

Timethief, I don’t intend to disable all reblogs so that OM cannot be abusive with reblogs.

I think WordPress should deal with people that openly abuse other bloggers rather than restrict people who ethically blog from being reblogged.

I can tell you two are just unhappy I am not suspended. It is ok. You will both get over it. Have a good weekend you two. Try and actually help people Timethief like a good forum bunny.

As you can see, he has no intent to be anything other than abusive.

It’s kind of funny, as I’ve made Google News on this topic, been disseminated by Klout over 40 times, and elsewhere.

But he’s free to be abusive. I had no idea threats were viable means of utilizing free speech.

    But they are here…

  • Unknown's avatar

Actually I don’t care if OM is suspended or not, I’d like WordPress’ policy to change.

You can see how he projects everything, rather than realize that he’s busive, a bully and a troll and changing his behavior.

I realize some people just can’t be helped.

But WordPress should take steps to help those of us bedevilled by people intent on being openly abusive.

Twitter started losing core users due to their moderation, I hope WordPress doesn’t suffer the same type of losses.

@kavalkade12 – As we have explained on numerous occasions at this point, we do not discuss Terms of Service issues here in the forums. I encourage you to blog about the changes you’d like to see with our policies!

I am closing this thread. Any new threads opened about TOS issues will be closed as well.
