Why can't you give us a FB like button so people can share our blog?

Just found out that you don’t allow plugins on wordpress.com and that is discouraging because I really would like people to share individual blogs and pages including the front page. It seems absurd that you would not allow that since that is only the most helpful thing on the internet and would help YOU as well. So what gives?

You can have both Facebook like and share buttons on your posts.
