Why change the blog posts screen?

    I admin my site by mousing over the “my site” in the upper left of the page and clicking blog posts. Until this morning, if I clicked on blog posts, I went to the Dashboard that allowed me to see in grid fashion (text) my scheduled and published posts.

    This morning when I clicked on blog posts, I get a page that has a big photo of my LAST post and I have to scroll quite a bit to even see a few posts back. Further, the SCHEDULED posts are under a different tab.

    Luckily I can go to WP Admin and see the USABLE Dashboard.

    So, my question (just like why did the stats page change to an unworkable mess) — Why do this?
