Why charging same amount if i linking my own domain ?

I have my own booked domain and want to integrate with WP . but when i choose the plan and linked my domain so price is showing same it should reduce because i have already paid for my domain to other vendor right ? Help me.Thanks,

If you prefer to keep your domain and site at different providers, you also have the option to “map” your existing domain to your site. You will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site in order to map a domain. Each paid plan comes with a free domain credit you can use to either register a new domain, or either transfer or map one you already own.

Alternatively, it’s possible to transfer your domain to WordPress to act as your new registrar. The benefit is that all of your website related things are in one space.

The fact that you paid another company for your domain does not mean you can pay us less for the service we provide, no. That is not how businesses work.
