why deleted site/blog name cannot ever be used again?

    Hi, I had a great name for my blog: 365mysli.wordpress.com but I deleted this site. Then I wanted to create the site again under this name but I didnt get the option. So I read the support and found out that it is never possible. Why is that? Is it really never available? If it’s really like that the info should be show on delete page in very big font, blinking in red:)
    I regret so much that I lost the name. Is really nothing that can be done to reactivate it?
    Please, please, please save my blog name, give it back;)

    In defense of WordPress, they do warn you three times in the deletion process that it is gone forever. You could also try some other variation of the name or upgrade and get rid of the wordpress in the middle. Use your imagination! There are so many options.
