Why did all my Facebook followers suddenly migrate to "Tags"?

Why did all my Facebook followers suddenly migrate to something called “Tags”? Almost 400 of them, carefully built up over the past year. I’m getting set to post again tomorrow, but I’m bummed that only 20% of the FB followers I’ve attracted with sheer merit will even know about it. WTF, and where did those 360+ followers go?

If I cant figure it out anytime soon, I might as well go somewhere else where it might be more permanent. I have all the files archived.

I’m very confused by what you mean. I see you have 376 followers on WordPress.com as well as a number of email followers. If that’s not what you mean, can you please explain in more detail?
We did have an issue with how followers were displaying yesterday, as noted in the post timethief mentioned. That has been resolved.

Yep, it was fixed, and I was so flummoxed by the “disappearance” of my followers that I wrote “Facebook” when I meant “WordPress.” All is well now.
