Why did all of my blog subscriptions get reset?
-
I usually get about eight blogs emailed to me every Monday morning, but today I got none. I checked my subscriptions and saw that they all had been reset. I had to change them back to reflect my preferences.
Why did this happen, and has it affected all WordPress users? My page views are noticeably less than they usually are for my post this week, and so I suspect this phenomenon has afflicted my followers, too.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Matt,
I’m sorry that your subscription settings were somehow reset. I’m not entirely sure what could have caused this. I haven’t heard any other reports of WordPress.com users being affected, but I’ll keep my eye out for additional reports.

Thanks, Jeremy. Perhaps it’s just a coincidence, but views of my new blog post today are running about 50 percent below their typical rate, so I wonder if others have been impacted. I rely a lot on emails to generate traffic, so if this problem is impacting others, that could explain the dip in traffic to my blog today.

I’ll keep an eye out for additional reports. I just checked my personal WordPress.com account, and it looks like the subscriptions are still set so I’m not sure what might have happened.

Not a problem! Sorry I don’t have more information here. If I find out anything else that could be helpful, I’ll make sure to update this thread.
