Why did I get a notification that I started a blog?

  Someone has started a blog using my e-mail address. I received two e-mail notifications, the first saying that I had signed up with wordpress (I created my account years ago), the second saying I had creating a blog called musingsofacinephiledotcom.wordpress.com (I never created that blog). Can you explain why I received these messages?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Thanks. I just received an e-mail entitled “Cristian Mihai liked your post on Day at The Pictures”, which appears to be a post on the blog that I did not create. I would very much appreciate if you could take care of this before I start getting flooded with these notifications.
