Why did I lose 50 followers in one day?

  On Friday our blog went from 145 followers to 95 very suddenly. I thought it may be a fluke so I waited a couple of days but it is still at 97 now. The majority are wordpress followers so I think the error comes from email followers..I doubt 50 people would all unsubscribe at the same time. What else could this be from?

  The same happened to me! I noticed that my blog had more than 50 less followers today. What happened?!
  I suppose this is an internal problem of wordpress?
  Please let me know.
