Why did I not get an activation email?

  I registered on wordpress.com yesterday and it said I would receive an activation email within 30 minutes. So I waited well 30 minutes passed and still no email. It’s now the next day and I’m just wondering why i did not receive an email to activate my account. Can anyone help me with this?

  It’s possible that your email program scooped it into the spam filter. Please check there.

  I don’t believe I have a spam filter I’m not sure. I use Windows Live Mail I don’t know if that has something to do with this problem or not though.

  You use Windows Live Mail (Hotmail)? Then by all means check your “junk mail” folder… This wouldn’t be the first time legitimate WP.com communications land there:

  I already looked in the junk folder thinking it would go there anyway. But it did not go there either it just did not send i guess.
