Why did I only receive a partial refund?

  On June 14th I purchased WordPress.com Personal for 48$
  I realized I wasn’t following my mentors instructions correctly
  and I should have been creating my website a different way.
  I asked for a refund and received a partial refund of 22$.
  What happened to the other 26$?
  Is there a way to contact WordPress billing by phone?

  Hi there, did you register a custom domain? If you did, and cancelled it after the 48 hour refund window, it’s yours for the coming year.

  Regardless I’ve gone ahead and tagged this thread for Staff attention. Since you no longer have an upgrade plan, all support is given here in our community forums.

  Hi –

  I can see that we processed the refund for the plan portion of your purchase, but not the for the domain registration on alookatlife.com. This is why only $22 was refunded.

  Before the domain is permanently cancelled please confirm for me if there’s any chance you’ll want to use it again (even if it’s with a different service). If not, I will refund the additional amount that is currently missing.

  Yes, it is currently canceled please refund the initial amount.
