Why did I receive an ID error message when publish comments to a blog?

  I posted a comment on another blog and used my new WordPress ID. When I attempted to publish the post, I received an alert from WordPress that I did not own the identity. Please advise.

  If you are using your WordPress account to leave a comment on a WordPress blog, you have to be signed in to your account first. However, if you are talking about a comment on Blogger then it is notorious for bringing up that error and no-one can ever leave a comment on there with a WP account. Your only option really to leave comments on Blogger is to set up a Blogger account.

  You’re welcome. The problems encountered with adding comments on Blogger with a non-blogger account has been on-going for years.
