why did it stop loading images in the facebook sharing preview?

  It suddenly a few weeks ago stopped loading my images in the auto facebook share. I’m not doing anything differently, so how do I fix it?

  Are you posting from the classic editor:

  or the new editor:

  https://wordpress.com/posts

  Did you switch from the classic editor to the new editor which prompted this issue?

  I am using the classic version. I don’t find the new one as user friendly for photos, which is the main content of my blog.

  Ah I see! Can you try deleting the Facebook connection and re-adding it? Then publish a test post with an image to see if it still doesn’t show up. If it doesn’t, I’ll report this to our team.

  Sure, I’ll delete and re-add the Facebook connection. That’s not a problem. As far as doing a test post goes, I’m not sure how to do that without emailing it to all my followers. I can just wait and see what happens next week when I do my post and get back to you then if that’s alright.

  That did not solve the problem. I deleted the post and made a new on on Facebook directly but the one generated automatically is still not loading the photo. How can we fix it? Thanks!

  I’m currently able to see the images on your Facebook page. Did you manually share these after the image didn’t show up via Publicize? Please let me know!

  Yes I manually shared them. The auto share had that same generic WordPress logo so I deleted that post and redid it.
