Why did my blog post delete?
-
I added a blog post earlier today, and I previewed it and looked at it after it posted. It all seemed fine but then later when a friend was trying to look at it, she told me it was gone. Now I can’t find that specific post ANYWHERE. It doesn’t show up on my page, it’s not in my drafts, it’s not in my trash. It took me a very long time to write so I would really like to recover it! Please help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can you remember the title of the post?
Is it possible that you accidentally published it as Private (which would mean only you can see it), or pre-dated it so that it shows earlier or perhaps it was published as a Page rather than a post?
-
@justjennifer, the title of the post was “Granada.” I can’t see it anywhere on my page anymore either! So it must not be private. It’s not there as a post or draft or anything. I don’t really understand! It just completely disappeared.

I’ve tagged this for Staff assistance. Perhaps they can see something that we cannot.
Please be patient while waiting and don’t bump this thread unless you have new information to give them.

Thank you! and in the meantime, I have been working on drafting a new version of what I had. It’s called “granada (take two)” just so that doesn’t confuse anyone who’s trying to help.

Hi there,
It looks like your previous version of Granada was saved as as draft in one of your other posts:
https://jaynekessel.wordpress.com/wp-admin/revision.php?revision=267
This can happen when you have two different drafts open at the same time. The autosave feature can get confused as to which post it should be saving to. If you just grab this saved version you should be able to get all of your post in to your new post!
