Why did my followers not receive a notification of my blog entry?

  I have just published blog number 121 and for some reason this one did not send out e-mail notifications to my followers.   My blog address is jelford.wordpress.com

  Hi jelford,

  I just noticed that you had two posts with the title “Visit to a Deaf and Blind Unit”. It appears you wrote one and then trashed it, and then republished a post with the same title. I’m guessing you did this for purposes of sending out a notification.

  Do you know if the second post worked?

  For the time being, I have subscribed to your blog. When you publish your next post, I will be able to check to see if notifications are being sent out properly or not.

  Hi Jackie, Yes, I did a copy of the post and then published it again. The second time the e-mail notifications went out, but I still have no idea why they didn’t go out the first time.
