Why did my header alignment change?
-
Hello,
I use Wu Wei and for some reason the header alignment has changed from far left to left in light with body text.
I tested out a few themes today, and I’m wondering if activating them caused this problem. I also upgraded to Custom Design for Wu Wei, then played around with the fonts a bit, then “reverted” to original font style.
Help!
Ruth TerryP.S. My blog URL is http://www.ruthwrites.org not ruthterry.wordpress.com, which is what comes up in the drop down menu above. WP and the name of theme also just appeared on the bottom of my website. Thanks for your help!

Hello,
It’s still displaying incorrectly. The title, subtitle and date are left aligned with text, not with each other. Is there anyway I can send someone a screenshot of what I’m seeing?
I tried viewing in Chrome, Firefox and Safari and it looks the same in each. I also tried a few different themes, too–Bueno and Pink Touch, which is currently up–and I’m having similar issues with those as well.
The problems seem to start when I upgraded to Custom.
Thanks for your help!

Absolutely, I think that will help sort this out. Can you take a screenshot and upload it to your site? Then just let us know what the file name is and we can take a look. Thanks!

Hey,
Here are the links to screenshots of my blog in both Wu Wei and Pink Touch 2. Alignment is off in Wu Wei and the background isn’t showing up in PT2. The comments in PT2 look weird too—the gravatar image is blocking the commenters name.

Hi Ruth,
It looks like the error is stemming from the Custom CSS page. From what I can see, it looks like you copy and pasted the original stylesheet for the Wu Wei theme into your Edit CSS page. Is this correct?
If so, you can revert to the original style by simply deleting the current CSS that you have in your Appearance -> Custom Design -> Edit CSS page.
However, were you trying to change your site’s font with the Custom Design upgrade? Or did you want to modify your site’s CSS?
Depending on the effect you were trying to achieve, we can help you modify your theme.

Hmm… I don’t recall doing anything to the Wu Wei CSS, except attempt to change the color. Maybe that was it?
I did try to change the font in both Wu Wei and Pink Touch 2, after I activated it.
I’ll try your suggestion and check back in if I keep having weirdness. Thanks so much for your help!
Ruth
