Why did my hive theme change when I purchased premium upgrade and new domain?
-
Three problems: first, the upgrade to premium (purchased after I had posted content to Hive theme) changed the format by eliminating the right hand column containing “follow widget and archive widget, etc.” Second, how do I collect the email address of those who follow the blog? I receive an email telling me that someone is “now” following the blog but no email to correspond back to them. Third, I can’t find a “related widget” as shown on the Hive demo at bottom of blog.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you checked out Hive’s support page:
https://wordpress.com/themes/hive/support/
It states:Hive features one widget area displayed in single post view and on static pages.
You can see it on a single post page:

and a static page:

Upgrading to Premium would not have changed the placement of your widgets.
Second, how do I collect the email address of those who follow the blog? I receive an email telling me that someone is “now” following the blog but no email to correspond back to them.
Go to Site Stats > My Follower in your Dashboard. Here’s the direct link:

Third, I can’t find a “related widget” as shown on the Hive demo at bottom of blog.
Can you show me where you are seeing a related widget on this site?:

Thanks!

Thank you for your response. It was helpful. Re “Third”—It may not be a “widget.” It’s at the very bottom of the page. It is a bold sub-head format with three linked posts. Here is the link: https://hivedemo.wordpress.com/2014/07/24/get-the-look-black-and-a-dose-of-attitude/

Ah, thanks for the clarification. That’s actually a setting that you have already set by going to Settings > Reading in your Dashboard.
Next to Related Posts you have already selected: Show related content after posts.
So, in order for this to work, you must have the following:
At least 10 published posts
At least 500 bytes (about 100 words) per post
Enough traffic (sites with very low traffic will not get the related posts option)You can read more about this here:
