Why Did My Home Page Change?

Hi, I have an urgent matter. Today my blog homepage changed from what seems like a static page to the blog page however I still have a separate blog page. I didn’t do any changes other than post a blog like normal and when I went to the home page it was completely different. I didn’t have a left side panel and there was no blog posts shown on the homepage. I need this back to the way it was asap because I have clients for my business that are looking at my page. Thanks a ton in advance.

Hey Jeremy, nope. It’s doing the same thing. Really frustrating cause we are full time travel bloggers and have clients on our site often. The screen shot you took has always looked that way. Just below where your screen shot cut off it shows a left sidebar which has never been there as well as it shows our blog posts. This has never been our blog page, the “our adventures” page has always been our blog and I have not changed this. The home page until this issue came up has always been a simple and clean page. Right below the “about the hannans” part on the home page it went to the black section where it showed our bottom widgets like “where are we” etc. Which reminds me, the where are we is also not correct. I have it entered as Verde Valley AZ but it shows Las Vegas on our home page and Verde Valley on other pages. The main thing though is we need the home page back to how it has always been. Thanks a ton for your help.

Sorry for misunderstanding. To fix this, navigate to Appearance -> Customize -> Theme and deselect the option to show the Home News Section like this:
