Why did my IPTC core data disappear from an uploaded image (JPG) file?

    As a professional photographer I have all my digital files metadata properly assigned concerning my details (creator name, country, email and website) and, specially and most important, the copyright status. I do that during the importing process from the camera. I have it all properly maintained during my workflow process up to the moment I upload my files to WordPress(.com).

    Unfortunately most of this information – specially and most important, the copyright status – are lost after the file is uploaded and published in a post. Only the creator name and the credit line remain after the files are on my website.
    I’d like you to reformulate your algorithms in order to DO NOT remove any IPTC core data from the files. These are very relevant informations, help the copyrights to be respected and, more than that, could help the images being found via searching tools (in case you have keywords and other relevant information on your metadata).
