Why did my "published" post fail to appear on my blog?

  I saved and published a long post. WordPress said, “Published” but it failed to appear on my blog. The saved draft is gone. The post disappeared.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I lost a lengthy post with many pictures after WordPress said “Published.” It never appeared on my blog. The saved draft is gone.

  Is this regarding the “Wedding Gift” post? Your subsequent “What has happened to WordPress” post implies that it was that post which was lost.

  If that is the case, never fear!

  It looks to me like the post was saved as a draft but not published. If you go to your site’s Dashboard and click on “Posts”, you will see “Wedding Gift” as the second in the list from the top with the word “draft” next to it.

  If you click on the title, you will be in the “edit post” view and you can then click “publish” and be good to go.
