Why did my video only load 9% in 18 hours?

  I tried to upload a video, which I had previously loaded on YouTube with no problem, and after 18 hours it had only loaded 9%! It’s a .MOV file that’s 2.98G – it may be in HD (I shot it on my iPhone 6).

  The only reason I upgraded my account was so that I could upload video, so your help is appreciated!

  That’s almost certainly a problem with the file size. Once files get much beyond 1 GB they don’t always upload reliably.

  Do you need the whole video or could you cut it down a bit before you upload it?

  I did a short test video & it uploaded quickly and without incident. I saw after I posted this that WordPress won’t take videos of more than 1 G – you’re right.

  This is sort of frustrating, because it means I can’t upload long videos, or at least not ones shot in HD, which is why I bought an iPhone 6 – for HD-quality video! Ah well, I will sort it all out eventually.
