Why did my wordpress blog import stop working?

I’m trying to import my blog that is hosted on blue host to have it hosted on wordpress. I downloaded the XML file and starting uploading it to wordpress and I got a message saying that “We’re processing your import now and we’ll send you an email when it’s done…”
I would like to import my posts + images to a wordpress hosted blog (with my own domain.) Thanks!

I tried to import it again and I got the same message. Is their something in my XML file that’s messing it up?

How long has it been since you started the import? They can sometimes take a few hours to complete, it won’t be instantaneous.
