Why did my .xml blog import skip some of my posts?

  My .xml blog import from Squarespace (still hosted at http://www.greaterandless.com) skipped a bunch of my posts. Any idea why?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi liseyjoy,

  I’m seeing some content that’s only on one of the blogs, but do you want to link us to two or three posts that were skipped on your Squarespace blog? It’ll help all of us figure out what went wrong faster.

  Sure! Thanks for the help. I exported my blog from Squarespace and uploaded it to WordPress yesterday, and a few of the posts didn’t show up in WordPress.

  For example:

  http://greaterandless.com/home/2014/4/1/weekly-wandering

  http://greaterandless.com/home/2014/4/28/elise-makes-music-song-12

  http://greaterandless.com/home/2014/4/17/inspiration-for-today

  These are a few posts on the Squarespace blog that I’ve noticed are missing from the WordPress version so far!

  I also noticed that the post showing up at my most recent on the WordPress blog (http://greaterandless.wordpress.com/2014/10/13/2014220weekly-wandering/) is actually a post from quite a long time ago, not from today! It’s definitely not in the right place…

  Any ideas why all the mix-ups and bits missing could be happening? Thank you so much for your help!

  I can’t see anything exceptional from the posts, so I’ve tagged this topic for a Staff follow-up. They should be able to take a look at your import and see if anything went wrong there!

  Hi Elise,

  I’m sorry about this! This can happen from time to time when importing quite a few posts at once. Normally in these situations we ask that you break up the import and do it little by little.

  I see that these 2 posts were not imported:

  http://greaterandless.com/home/2014/4/1/weekly-wandering

  However, I was able to find the other 3:

  As for this post: http://greaterandless.wordpress.com/2014/10/13/2014220weekly-wandering/ it may be a good idea to just change the published date. Please edit the post and click on the Edit button next to Published on in the Publish module as seen here:
