Why did "Publish" delete my content?
-
When I clicked on “Publish” my post was published with only the title – I lost an hour’s worth of writing. I want two things: for this to never happen again, and also my writing back. Please advise where I could find an autosave/backup of my post.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

1) Don’t use the “New Post” option in the W menu of the grey admin bar, because it’s buggy: create your posts in Posts > Add New (dashboard sidebar). And better don’t use drafts: when you start a new post, enter the title, type a couple of words, set the post visibility to private, click OK, click update; continue editing, turn to public when finished.
2) If autosave had started to work (depends on the steps you followed), you can go to Posts > All Posts, click the title of the post to edit it and look at the Revisions module. If you’re not seeing the Revisions module on the post editor screen, click Screen Options (top right) and check “Revisions” to make the module show up.
