Why didn't my blog publish without the text I wrote to accompany the image?

I am a new user of WordPress. When I found the theme I liked I uploaded an image and wrote some text to accompany it. When I published it, and then viewed it, it appeared with the image only. Then when I clicked on Edit to re-enter the text, it would not respond. Consequently my blog page appeared with only the image and no text. I have tried to re-enter the text and finally reblogged. Once again the text was missing. Then I trashed the other drafts and found that my page only comes up with ‘Not found’. Please will you tell me how to publish my blog with image and text. I have viewed the video tutorial and followed instructions. It all looked ok in Preview. I really would like to be able to publish the text too.
    thanks

    Hi Helen,

I just went and checked out your blog. It looks like you now have an image and text in place, just like you were describing. Are you having any further issues, or did you get everything sorted out how you wanted it?

    Let me know!
