Why didn't my domain name change?

  $18.00 has been charged to my credit card for my website’s domain name, but the name has not been changed.

  Hi there. What is the URL of the custom domain you bought and what is the URL of the WordPress.com site for which you bought the domain?

  The URL of the custom domain is davidthoughts.com and the URL of the WorPress.com site where I bought the name, I am unsure.

  I submitted my payment and the page said that the payment was not successful, yet I was still charged and no change to the domain name.
