why didn't my friends comment appear on my blog?

A friend commented on my blog today. I got her comment in my email and I can find it on my dashboard, but it is not showing up on my blog……She has a blogspot blog and thinks this is why it is happening. I hope not. Can you fix this?

Th is very odd. What is the username of the commenter please? I’ll tag this thread for Staff to take a look at what’s going on. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Going to try to comment again. I have a terrible time commenting here, most of the time it erases the comment. Stephanie’s blog is on WordPress and Blogger does the same to her so that’s why she doesn’t comment on my blog. Wanted to let you know I’ve been reading! -

Sorry, this is not the comment. The one that did not show up is from the 23rd. I copied and pasted in all that appeared on my comments page. But it never showed up on its own.

I’m sorry, but I don’t understand. You say that the comment from brendacoffeeteabooksandme did not appear on your blog, but it’s there.
At any rate, it may be that brendacoffeeteabooksandme is being accidentally blocked by Akismet, our anti-spam service. Please ask her to go to http://akismet.com/contact/ and report that she is having difficulty commenting on blogs on WordPress.com, and they will look into it for her.

The comment that did not appear, did not appear on the September 23rd post…..I could see it in the comments where I see dashboard, but it did not appear with the comments on that day’s blog post. So I posted it in its entirety there, saying that I was doing that.
