Why didn't my last post go out to my email followers?

  I published a post several hours ago. It posted to Facebook, Twitter and the blog home page, but for some reason it did not go out to email followers. Never had this problem before. How can we fix it?

  Can you let me know the email address or WordPress.com username of one or two users that did not receive the email?

  Hi!

  The first email address (backinrivercity) is not subscribed to the blog backinrivercity.wordpress.com. That looks like it’s your email address. You can subscribe to your blog by navigating here:

  https://wordpress.com/following/edit/

  From that page, find the desired blog and click the “Edit” link. You’ll want to make sure that the delivery settings are set to “Instant” as shown here:

  

  As for the other address (eve.settles), it looks like an email was sent on 10/20/14 for your latest post. Can you check to see if the email landed in your spam folder or trash accidentally?

  Jeremy, I gave you the wrong email address. Neither of my email addresses ((email visible only to moderators and staff) or (email visible only to moderators and staff)) received the post in question (Oct. 20). My husband also did not receive it ((email visible only to moderators and staff)). Things I have posted since have not had a problem. Apparently it was an isolated incident, but I would like to know why it happened and be assured it won’t happen again.

  Hi Eve,

  I’m showing that an email was sent to both eddie.settles and eve.settles for the post on Oct 20th. I’m not entirely sure why they didn’t arrive to your inbox. Since the posts are being delivered correctly now, it sounds like this might have been a one-off error. If this happens again, please let us know.
