Why didn’t my post show up on facebook?
My last new post was not shared on facebook, twitter and linkedin. I saw the new interface and checked the boxes but nothing. What’s up?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry you’re having trouble with the Publicize feature. I’d love to get this fixed for you, could you answer a few questions for me?
1. What browser and version are you using?
2. Can you please clear your cache and cookies and let me know if this continues to happen?
We’ve also added a link back to the dashboard editor, if you’d prefer to work there for the time being.

On my laptop I’m using Safari 5.1.10. The origianal post however was on my desktop running Safari 6. something… I’m on the road now and can’t tell you exactly. But I’m having the same problem with my laptop and the NEW, “easier way to create” place to write a post. I cleared my history and emptied the cache. Every time I return to the page the Sharing tab on the right changes. I wrote a new post using my laptop this morning and the Sharing tab did not have my default sharing places listed. I added them then clicked preview and then Updated (which I guess now means “publish”) and then came back to the page and they were gone again. I would think they would be saved and the default sharing locations as set up in the dashboard would always be there.
Okay here’s what’s going on. Classic mode works. in the new mode when I open a new (beep beep boop) page the social sharing choices I’ve made show up. If I write a post and they click “Publish” it actually shows up on my social media. BUT and this is a BIG BUT. If I click on “Preview” which I always do when writing a post, the social media sites disappear under the “Sharing” tab. There is no longer a “Publish” button only an update button.
Something is not “easier” if it doesn’t work. I’ll continue to use the “classic mode.” You can keep your “beep beep boop.”
