Why didn't my post appear in reader?

Last nigh I posted a blog entry that did not show up in the reader for other viewers. All other posts have shown up and the two posts after that showed up in reader as well so I’m wondering what could have happened. The post in question is “Round 2 = Redemption! Red Velvet Truffle Brownies”

This also happened to me today actually, I can’t find the post by any of it’s tags in the reader, and can only locate it via my blog itself. I’ve filed for support, but haven’t heard anything yet. First time i’ve seen it happen too.

Please be aware that Staff work from the earliest dated threads and support tickets forward. Posting more than once or contacting them more than once on the same issue simply moves the date forward and it takes longer to get help.
Take note of this in case these reasons apply to your posts https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/topics-missing-posts
The rule of thumb is assign the least number of relevant categories and tags to any post. Also be sure you do not exceed a combined total of 15.
As you have assigned a combined total that exceeds 15 Categories/Tags to your posts, you need to edit and delete. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/ After removal note it may take several days for your posts to begin displaying there.

You’re welcome. Do be sure to check the Topics pages very closely because the posts are displayed in date order of the original publication date. Topics pages fill up very quickly, as there are so many of us publishing every minute of every day all around the world.

One more question – Does this mean that the post will not appear newly in peoples’ feeds? But rather farther down, where the original published date post would have been if it had posted?

It should reappear as new within the hour, yes. Worse-case, everything will reappear after your next post.

Hi all –
Sorry to post again but our latest post also did not show up in reader :( Also, the brownies one that was supposed to show up within the hour still hasn’t shown up. Please let me know what is going on and who we can get these in the reader, as we’re still a fairly new blog and this is how we get most of our website traffic…

The brownie, California, and matzah posts are all in the Reader, but the most recent one didn’t make it. I’m reprocessing your feed now, so it should appear eventually.
