Why didn't my YouTube videos show up on the post emailed to my subscribers?
-
I posted two YouTube videos into my most recent post and they show up on my blog on wordpress.com, but the format that is automatically emailed to my subscribers just has a short link for each one that you can’t even click on or anything! It’s kind of frustrating and embarrassing when I email this out to people and it’s not functional. What am I doing wrong? Please help!

Most email clients can play the Flash videos from YouTube, and would simply display a blank space instead of the video, so we just send out links or thumbnail images if available.

But the link wasn’t clickable in the email I received. It was just this:
watch?v=6KqXxNf7Y8c
And I use Gmail. Does this mean that the people who received my post via email probably can’t click a functioning link? Sorry if I seemed confused, but I am. I just want to make sure I understand so that I can post correctly for the people who subscribe via email.
Thanks

It should have come through as a fully clickable link.
Can you forward the email to support@wordpress.com and reference this thread?
