Why do emailed posts not have any content?
-
I’ve set up this blog to enable me to consolidate job emails into an RSS feed for a paper.li sheet.
As part of this, I’ve set up my gmail account to automatically forward appropriate emails to the post address for publishing.
The problem is that the subject line gets published, but there is no content.
I have the same problem with teamrhs.wordpress.com – when I forward details of a new project, I get the title (and name of the project), but no content to tell my team members how to access the new project. Thanks for any help you can give.

To add to this, when I emailed myself a link to this page, using the address that forwards to the blog, the content was published. ?

The system will strip out anything after a — or an hr tag.
If there any chance that the email could be preceded by either?
Also, can you manually send any email to your blog, just to test?

That could explain it – a manual post came through fine. I guess WordPress is killing it starting at the forward header.
Is there any way of disabling this filter?
Failing that, I suppose I’ll have to use the blog address for the subscriptions that I’m forwarding.
