Why do Flickr images no longer appear?
-
Why does the method of copying code from Flickr images that look like this:
<img src=”http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3360/4604242274_f42db83460.jpg” width=”500″ height=”332″ alt=”Culoe De Song and Black Coffee” />no longer work? I only see code on my blog.
Note that this is a recent development, former images using this method are still visible as i want them.I am doing nothing different than i did a month ago – what is wrong??
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hrm… I see images that look like they come from flickr, like on this post, http://scottsmithonline.wordpress.com/2010/01/30/project-lines-defined/

I see Flickr images in your sidebar and when I click them I am taken to your Flickr page where I see them in a larger size. Has this problem now been resolved? -
Hi there
Thanks, Ok, I have un-privatised my latest posts where the images do not appear – only code.
That is what I am trying to say – it has been working fine but recently it doesn’t and i cannot see why. The sidebar sees my recent flickr images no problem.
I am hoping it is something really simple that is going wrong but I just can’t see what it is…
Thanks

Staff are tinkering with themes, so that may be related.
In your case, the reason the code is showing is, you’re pasting it in the Visual editor instead of the HTML editor. Just click over the tab and paste it in there and you can click back to the Visual editor and tweak it however you like.

Oh, awesome!
That works. Strange that I haven’t made that simple mistake before…but anyway – that seems to have sorted out any code glitches and the images are now viewable.Nice
