Why do I get 404 errors when viewing posts in editor mode?

I’d need more information from you to help diagnose this. Can you tell me:
Do you get the 404 when you try to preview? Or on the edit screen itself?
Have you tried refreshing the page?There can also be intermittent router, firewall or server errors that create 404s and have nothing to do with WordPress itself.
