Why do I get a DNS needs to be updated message?

  I have a subdomain web.weareresidents.org registered at 1and1. The domain is active with 1and1. It is mapped in WordPress. My WordPress site at web.weareresidents.org has been working fine for over 10 months. I have changed nothing and nothing has expired, but today my WordPress website disappeared from the public and in the Dashboard I get the message ‘DNS needs to be updated’ but when I click on it I get the “Goshdarnit! Matt’s fault” error page. How to I resolve the issue? Help please! Thx

  The subdomain web.weareresidents.org appears to be working correctly on my side. Can you let me know if you’re still having trouble?

  Yes fixed thanks. Not a WP.com problem. Was a DDOS attack on my DNS provider.
