Why do I get error 400 and redirect loops with my own domain?
-
It’s set up correctly, and sometimes works. I’ve tried it in 3 different browsers, caches and cookies cleared, and when it gives me error 400 Bad Request in one, it does in the others as well. It also sometimes decides to give me a redirect loop error also.
Going to ernieprieto.com/wp-admin gave me the 400 error also, but ernieprieto.wordpress.com/wp-admin didn’t, so I’m going to guess it’s something with your servers…
It’s been days of really bad performance, not only these errors but even the blog not being updated properly.

ernieprieto.com/wp-admin acutally doesn’t exist. The correct Dashboard URL will always be https://ernieprieto.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ even with domain mapping.
I’m not seeing any of the errors myself. Do you have any better luck if you check or uncheck “Always use HTTPS when visiting administration pages” at Users -> Personal Settings in your Dashboard?

It was unchecked, I’ll try it out, but it wasn’t the wp-admin page that concerned me most, altho the first one is where the link on “My Blogs” directed me to.
My main concern was how the url itself gave me 400 errors in all 3 browsers (Chrome, Firefox, and Sarafi)

I believe that was only happening for you, as there is a tiny remote log in step that happens in the background. Switching to HTTPS should resolve it.
Please let us know if the issue reappears!
