Why do I get follow-up emails when I uncheck the box?

  When did wordpress change the default setting for “notify me of follow-up comments via email” to be selected instead of me having to check the box? My inbox is getting overwhelmed and it’s annoying the crap out of me. Especially when I uncheck the box and STILL get the emails. I would love, love, love some help on this one.

  Yes. I’m having this problem as well, and like you I am annoyed. I’ve checked and unchecked boxes till I’m blue in the face………..HELP! And I’m having the very same problem with Apple web site. My inbox is about to explode. :(

  It seems to be working for me. No inbox overload when I got home from work tonight. I’m also paying attention and making sure to uncheck the follow up box! Just to be sure.
