Why do I get "This tool is temporary disabled. Check back in a few days."?

When I try to change my username or website I get “This tool is temporary disabled. Check back in a few days.” This has been going on for a weeks.

It’s on our list to update, and I know someone is going to take a look this week. I can’t guarantee a specific date when it will be available again though.
If you prefer not to wait, you can simply setup a completely new username at http://en.wordpress.com/signup/ and transfer your blog there or setup a new blog name and transfer the content with the Tools → Export and Tools → Import pages. It does require re-doing the settings such as blog title, theme choice, and widgets if you decide to move content manually to a new blog name.
