Why do I have 2 Home pages?

  I appear to have 2 Home pages. The one that opens when someone visits my website say “Opps” and indicates it’s the wrong page. The other Home page is the correct one and should be the one visitors arrive at. What is wrong?

  Hi njhammerauthor,

  You’ll need to do two things:
  1. In your Dashboard, go to Appearance > Customize > Front, and change your “front page displays” to display “a static page”. This would let visitors be directed to your “right” home page at the start.

  2. In your Dashboard, go to Appearance > Theme Options, and check the ‘Hide “Home” link in page navigation’ option. This would hide the “wrong” home page in navigation.
