Why do I have 2 “Home” tabs on the top of the page?
-
Hi, I was wondering why there are two “home” tabs on the top of my page? It says Home, About then Home again? Is this because I set my blog so that “Home” would direct viewers straight to the blog? Pls help.
Thank you.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

By default, the “Home” tab always directs viewers to the blog. There is no need to make another “Home” page. Are you trying to use a static home page?

I believe these links will be helpful for you.
This link below will help you hide the second home page

To follow up t3ck, here is how to solve the issue:
1. The static “Home” page can be named anything but “Home”, e.g. “Welcome”. Make the start page a Child page of another parent page. That way it will not show in the nav bar.
2. The “Blog” posts page should preferrably be named “Blog” or “Post” or anything similarly descriptive. Just make a blank page and title it Blog. This page must be be a parent page.
3. In Settings > Reading, make “Welcome” the front page and make “Blog” the posts page.
