Why do I have 375 page revisions on my homepage?

I have 375 revisions on my homepage. I have more than 25 revisions on every other page and post on our site. Why do I have more than 25 revisions?

Which is a WordPress.ORG blog, not a WordPress.COM blog, so you need to be at their forums for help with that version of the software.
-
What’s the difference? And, why was I able to post on this forum if I’m not on the list?
-
You have to register at WordPress.org in order to post there. Here is a post on the details of the differences between the two sites, http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ but the short form is they are different versions of the software and they work differently.
-
And, how do you know that? You only looked at my homepage…. can you tell what type of license I have by the homepage? If so, please let me know how you found that information. Thanks.

Gee, thanks for sharing.
Seriously, once you’re in the right place, it’s not hard to find the answers.

Thank you for replying, though. The dot org support is not as friendly or responsive as the dot com side of things; and only allows for questions that were previously “answered”.
Probably just switch to wix after all this. FYI: cool looking mosaic squid postcard on the background. –peace oot

Thanks. The reason .org isn’t as responsive is, thousands of people make their living solving WordPress.org tech support questions. So there’s far less incentive to contribute there. This is not so commercial, so it’s more volunteer-based.

I cut and pasted revisions into my blog when I had erroneously deleted something; bu the taxt block area remains. How can I remove it as it makes a hung blank space in my blog.
