Why do I have dotcom.wordpress.com
-
I found the screen where I can change “Micah20McVicker” back to “MicahMcVicker. But user “Micah20McVicker” cannot access the dashboard requested.
How do I proceed?
-
You won’t be able to change back. Once you change away from a username, you can’t go back. There are a few warning abut this during the change process.
-
I probably did not heed those warnings for reasons I cannot recall. That is my fault, and I will accept the consequences of not heeding said warnings.
I know typing words here can be ambiguous, but I sincerely thank you for your patience with me. I hope I wasn’t too difficult.
-
You’re welcome!
You weren’t difficult at all, and please let us know if you have any more questions!
-
There’s one more thing: I’d like my website to have the tabs (about me, contact me, design, photography, etc.) found on http://margaretely.com. How can I add those?
Thank you. -
By default, all published pages will appear in the navigation menu in alphabetical order.
You can publish a page for each of those to make them appear.
If you need to link to an external site, you can create a custom menu in Appearance -> Menus with those custom links (along with adding the pages to the custom menu which you need to appear there), then activate the custom menu.
