Why do I have logging in problems?

Just to let you know that I always have logging problems, I sometimes have to try 3 or 4 times!
It is very frustrating!

Hi there, sorry you are having trouble logging in! Could you please give me more specific information about what happens when you try to log in? Do you see any error messages, and what do they say? Does it happen only in Internet Explorer, or other browsers as well? How do you log in – do you go to wordpress.com and enter your credentials on the main page, or are you logging in from a different page? The more details you can provide, the easier it will be for us to track down the issue and help you.

Thanks for getting back to me.
I goto http://wordpress.com then try log in from there. I tried now and this is what came up yet again https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php
I only use explorer so not sure about other browseres.

Well I check the 2nd link from my post, and yes it is an error page! not what it is now.

If you are redirected to https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php and enter your credentials there, what happens? Could you please copy and paste here the contents of the error message that you get?
Another option to try is to log in via http://allansjourney.wordpress.com/wp-admin
What version of Internet Explorer are you using? You can also try a different browser, like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. You can download latest versions of other browsers here: http://browsehappy.com

Yes, I am aware of the other browser, but all my favourite saved sites do not get moved over.
My computer is only 1 1/2 years old!
I logged in today now with no problem :-)
I get the Internet cannot display this website page.
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Good to hear that you were able to log in today without a problem. As the error message suggests, it appears to be an issue with your connection. When you see that message, could you try connecting to other sites and see if you can access them, and also try connecting to WordPress.com from a different browser? If you can connect to other sites but not WordPress.com, then this gives us useful information to investigate further. If you can connect with Mozilla Firefox but not Internet Explorer, then it’s a browser-specific issue.
(You mentioned saved favorites, most browsers offer a way to export your favorite links and then re-import them into another browser. E.g. see this help article: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/import-ie-favorites-other-computer )

OK, please try Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome whenever you have problems connecting to WordPress.com with Internet Explorer and let me know if you have problems with another browser.

Hi, Allan – that page is showing up fine for me both in IE9 and Chrome.
When you say it’s not showing up, could you please describe what you mean in more detail? Do you see a blank white page? An error message? A “timeout” message? Something else?
1) Could you please try a different browser, like Chrome or Firefox, and let me know if you can see it there.
2) Would it be possible to upload a screenshot to help in troubleshooting?

You can upload the screenshot in your Media Library and then post a link so I can see it.
