Why do I have so much spam on my blog and how can I get rid of it?

    I am getting tons of spam in my comments section. Up to 50 a day now. I hit “spam” but it doesn’t stop them from coming. It’s mainly concentrated on one blog in particular. What can I do to fix this?

    We want to make certain that these spam comments are getting caught in your filter, rather than being published online. This is very important. Can you confirm if this is happening? Or, are spam comments getting past your filter, and being published on your website? Please do let me know.

    Are you receiving email notification when a comment lands in your spam filter?

    I suggest adding spammers to your Blacklist, and adjusting your moderation rules. Those instructions (as well as additional advice) can be found via links on this page:
