    It’s terribly stupid that I have to pay 25 usd just to remove WordPress, I pay the premium and absolutely wrong that you have to pay extra just to remove WordPress brand, I think, completely wrong. Then all other premium services should be free if you retain wordpress brand.
    Why do I have to pay 4 or 8 usd and still keep wordpress branding and that means I pay for you while driving FREE wordpress.com marketing for you

    Note that the prices you are quoting are the per month figures. To upgrade to a paid plan you pay annually in advance.

    Branding is a fact of life. You see it on clothes, shoes, you name it. My car says “Ford” on it but that doesn’t bother me.

    To add to what @themagicrobot mentioned, you also have several options of what is displayed in your footer, including a very minimal WordPress “W”.

    You can adjust that in your Customizer>Site Identity>Footer Credit. Click the blue Publish button to save.
