Why do I keep accidentally posting as pages?

  Twice in a row I posted something and, to my dismay, found out that the post was published as a page, not as a post. And I quickly have to copy and paste. It even lets me configure sharing options for the page, and doesn’t use them. You made some recent changes to the editor, and that’s when this problem started. I’m still not sure how I’m accidentally posting as a page each time. Two for two!

  Hi Scott,

  I’m sorry for the trouble! I’m not sure why that’s happening — can you describe the exact steps you took to create those new posts? It would help to know exactly where you clicked to start those posts that became pages.

  Also, if you can recall doing anything with your site just before creating the post (such as creating or editing pages on your site) that could also help me track down what’s going wrong there.
