Why do I need the VideoPress upgrade?

  I am a little bit confused; since I can always use the YouTube embed code or just upload a video with the free WordPress.com blog service, what does the VideoPress do exactly? Thanks

  It’s for people who aren’t satisfied with the visual quality of YouTubes, etc, and/or want to keep their video off sharing sites and more proprietary.
