Why do I not have a SHARING option under SETTINGS?

  My blog has the latest version of WordPress and everything is working fine. I just don’t have a SHARING option under SETTINGS.

  That’s because you have a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, which is a bit different than the blogs offered here at WordPress.com: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Fortunately, you can get the very same options by installing the Jetpack plugin: http://jetpack.me/
