Why do I not receive my weekly post via email?
-
Some of the people who have signed up for the blog do not receive their posts. Usually, I do receive my post, but this morning I did not, nor did at least one other person. We usually do receive our posts. I had scheduled the post to publish today June 26th at 1 a.m. It did. No email received, however. This has happened before. No, it’s not in my spam box.

Hi there,
If you scheduled your article to post at a specific time, then it will actually go up when the next person visits your site after that specified time, though it will be dated and time stamped from when you had specified. You also will not get an email of your post until that viewer has triggered the post. Have you checked your email to see if it has arrived since then?

I scheduled the post for Wednesday 6/26 @ 01:00 a.m. Usually, the next morning, the email is in my gmail box, I click on the blue title, the post appears, linked to the blog site. This time, there was no email posting in my box, so I went to the blog site and saw that the article had already published. So far, I have not received the post in my mail box (nor my spam box). Neither has another person (who actually wrote the article).
In a related problem, she has received many comments on her post and has replied…until this morning, when she wasn’t allowed to reply.
We just want things back as they were (which was great).
Thanks. -
I’ve reviewed our settings and it doesn’t appear that there is any issue with your blog. You should continue to receive emails going forward. It may be that we had a short maintenance window this morning which prevented emails from sending out, however I’ve not been able to confirm that.
If this occurs again, let me know and I’ll be happy to dig in to the issue further!
